The trimmer evidently is an outstanding trimmer because the shipping from SAW suppliers was about the worst I’ve ever seen I watched a lot of YouTube videos before I bought this trimmer all of them from SAW suppliers the box was tight well packed a hat a bottom or a bottle of oil on everyone I saw on YouTube mine when I got it no hat no oil the box was thin paper there was one wrapping a bubble wrap around the engine nothing else in the box the box was half ripped I mean I had to when I got it from the UPS driver he handed the box to me in two pieces with a trimmer in the middle as far as I can tell the trimmer survived without any damage I let the shipper know no response so I guess they take care of their YouTube people but they don’t take care of their regular customers

My previous model 562 was cursed for being difficult to start more than all the other saws I have owned combined. That is until the dealer replaced the carburetor.
I have used the Mark II for a week. The model II starts easily right out of the carton. I was concerned that the Model II might be difficult to crank over without the decompression button, but that has not been the case.
It also seems to have more power. I should put a new chain on the old 562 to test this impression. The Mark II does have a sharper "bark".
