PPT-2620 Extension

Worked great for me though quite heavy when at full length so get a back brace. It allowed me to raise the trees to a level suitable for driveway, pond, etc. Primarily used on oaks and worked well. I would have paid $2k+ for what I did and did it like I wanted it to look so well worth the $100 and the sweat I put in to the job. The pole saw is a beast why not work it to its capacity which I did.

Makes a lot of difference

This thing makes a lot of difference when running a tree service. It also makes it a lot harder to handle but it is easily taken off. Worth every penny

Built well but presents an issue

I wouldn't recommend using an extension for the pole saw. Just lifting it up and seeing the heaviness pulling the shaft down to make a slight arc I could easily see how the pole would get damaged from a quick movement of lowering or raising the pole from momentum. Either hiring a tree climber, using a manual pole saw with or without a ladder or choosing to drastically make shorter cuts from the base or totally eliminate a tree I'd say would have to be considered if the basic 12 foot Echo pole saw cannot handle the job.
