Rough start....box kind of beat up (but the saw appeared just fine). Went to use the choke...it wouldn't operate. Found the wire that holds the air cleaner in place down in front of the linkage of the choke. Why? ..there was no air cleaner. Had to go buy one. Once installed, I started the chain saw with no problem. I've put 3 tanks of fuel through it since then and the saw has been quite nice. Glad I bought it. Hope it stays that way.
I work on a lot of big live oaks on my property and have quite a few chainsaws including a Stihl MS461 with 32 “ bar, Husky 372 with 28” bar, two Stihl MS261.
Recently I bought two new Stihls from Saw Suppliers, a MS500i with 36” bar and a Stihl 400c with a 25” bar. These two saw are lighter and more powerful than any of my other mid-sized saws and perform admirably on very large hardwoods.

This is more or less the exact design you used to be able to buy 30 years ago and the same design my grandfather used to build.
Its way heavier duty than the other options, it can push and pull logs, and it can pick up firewood whether you stick it in the end or even the side.
I should have bought this before I bought the Forester trash
