Echo CS-501P Professional Chain Saw - 50.2 CC - 3.45 HP*

I am a tried and true Stihl saw user. But, after 30 years, I found myself in the market for a new saw. I decided to give the Echo CS-501P a try. Good value: it's a workhorse for felling, limbing, and bucking the many trees damaged from recent storms in my area.

I ordered the CS-501P but it turns out it was not actually in stock, so saw suppliers reached out giving me a few options. I could either wait for the saw or they offered to upgrade me to another saw at no additional cost. Having some issues with some of my other saws, I decided to take the upgrade. They even threw in a few free-bees as a thank you. These are really great people and I will recommend them to others. You don’t get customer service like this anymore.

As a retired Va. state park ranger I had 30+ years using and maintaining chain saws . When faced with replacing my ever troublesome sthil I was pleased to see the reviews of the echo 501p . Having used and maintained echo equipment before I was sold . This saw is great . I like the new features and it lives up to my expectations . It is nice to have a lightweight saw that performs like a pro . Luvung in the woods I need a reliable saw and the cs 501 p is up to the task .
