Used it to get my idle settings and high speed screws set on a pair of rebuilt 391 Stihls. Set idle right at 2850 rpm and high speed at 11800-12200. A little less than the 13000 rpm max but saws run sound and respond amazing thanks to this nifty little tool. Best part just hold it close and it gives you a reading. Takes the guesswork out and eliminates ear test

Saw Suppliers have the best price and give military discount. ECHO PET-304 by Oppama compact digital combination tachometer/hour meter works as advertised. Takes the guess-work when needing accurate RPMs for adjusting carburetor on two stroke engines. I tried it on my Husky 455, just holding it above where the spark plug is and it gave me the engine speed. I did not have to remove any engine covers or use the lead that can be clamped to plug wire. The refresh time made it easy to read the digital display without the numbers moving like crazy. Highly recommend to buy this as a tach and buy from Saw Suppliers!
