D025/3003 to D009 (Allows Echo's CS-7310P Saws to Run Stihl Bar / Chain) - Read Description to Verify it will Work.

I have both Stihl and Echo saws and bars so this adapter must be part of any kit. It fit perfect on 7310 and the Stihl bar mounted firmly. Because this doesn’t have a screw to retain it like some do, I used a dab of goop glue to hold it in postion. Not permanent but sticks it good enough. If you swap bars in the field it maybe a good idea to paint it flourescent orange for when you drop it or have a spare. So far all my stihl saw chains fit with the matched bars. One bar needs 7 pin sprocket because the 8 pin sprocket seemed tight with the driver count of chain. May get a chain with extra driver.

Adapter machining is great and fits stihl bars well, however, stihl chain loops do not fit, even with tensioner backed all the way down, due to the studs on the 7310 being further away from the drive sprocket. Can't seem to find any guidance on recommended chain application. Would have been nice to know before ordering. Guess it's custom chains or chunk this thing in the trash.
